This clipping was uncovered in the space that currently houses Avenue. While many of us are aware East Decatur Station was formerly a lab, there was a long history before this incarnation.

Avenue’s renovation revealed the bones of an old house, with heart pine framing and flooring. Grow Salon and Home Forge sit in the handsome stone building on the courtyard- once a warehouse in the late 1800’s. EDS loves the symbolism of contemporary finishes on the these historical properties. Decatur- rooted in tradition and always hungry for progress!
